Vinnies NSW is celebrating the first anniversary of Vinnies Finds, its online op-shop platform that is reshaping how Australians shop second-hand fashion while supporting people experiencing hardship across New South Wales.

Since launching in May 2025, Vinnies Finds has generated more than $1.4 million in sales, processed over 18,000 orders and sold more than 57,000 pre-loved items, highlighting the growing appetite for sustainable and circular fashion.

The platform currently features more than 17,000 listed items across 150 unique brands, including over 2,000 brand-new-with-tags pieces, offering shoppers access to curated designer and everyday fashion online.

Importantly, the initiative has also helped divert more than 75 tonnes of textiles from landfill in its first 12 months - the equivalent weight of an Airbus 220-300 at take-off.

Created by Vinnies NSW to make second-hand shopping more accessible, curated and scalable in the digital space, Vinnies Finds combines fashion, sustainability and social impact - with proceeds helping fund services and programs supporting people experiencing poverty and hardship.

Yolanda Saiz, CEO of Vinnies NSW, said the success of the platform reflects a growing shift towards conscious consumerism:

“Vinnies Finds brings together quality pre-loved fashion, including designer and everyday pieces, and allows customers to shop them online with ease and convenience,” Ms Saiz said.

“Designed to extend the life of donated goods and reduce textile waste, the platform has successfully generated vital funds that directly support Vinnies NSW programs assisting people experiencing disadvantage and hardship.”

To celebrate the first anniversary, Vinnies last night hosted an intimate event inside their Stanmore warehouse featuring a fashion showcase highlighting standout Vinnies Finds pieces and hidden gems and a panel discussion with leading voices from the fashion and sustainability sectors.
