June is Workplace Giving Month and this year, more than ever, your support matters.

With the rising cost of living, so many Australians are teetering on the edge struggling to keep up with rent, utility bills, food, medication and basic needs. St Vincent de Paul Society NSW’s recent Annual Report confirms demand for support continues to climb, with crisis assistance services and emergency relief among the most utilised programs across NSW.

Through your Workplace Giving contributions, we can step in earlier, preventing people from tipping over into deeper crisis. Your ongoing donations help provide essential support like:

  • paying utility bills so families aren’t plunged into hardship
  • providing hot meals and grocery support through Vinnies Vans and food relief
  • helping with medication and basic healthcare needs
  • offering safe accommodation, case management, and stability when it’s needed most
Workplace Giving Month

Workplace Giving isn’t just about giving donations, it’s about giving hope, dignity and confidence. Often, your contribution is the difference between someone falling further behind and finding the strength to stand again.

And while your generosity changes lives, it changes workplaces too. Research shows that giving strengthens connection, purpose, and wellbeing, for both those who receive and those who give.

Be a Champion

If you’re passionate about making an even bigger difference, consider becoming a Workplace Giving Champion. Encourage colleagues to join, share why you give, or spark a conversation within your team.

Every dollar may seem small on its own, but when combined, those contributions create life-changing impact across NSW.

Have an idea? We’d love to support you.
