Vinnies NSW has officially launched Vinnies Finds, a new online store offering curated, pre-loved fashion to customers across the country. Combining sustainability with social impact, the platform makes it easier than ever to shop with purpose—right from the comfort of home.
The website is designed to be warm, modern, and user-friendly, offering a smooth and simple experience whether browsing on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Shoppers can search by category, brand, or price using powerful filters, and the site also includes helpful links to information about volunteering and how to donate.
Since its launch in May, Vinnies Finds has quickly captured public interest. In its first week alone, the platform recorded over 900 sales, generating revenue to support the Society’s essential services.
Visitors can explore thousands of unique clothing items and accessories, with more than 20,000 products available at launch—four times the original target. This achievement reflects the overwhelming support from donors and the tireless work of staff and volunteers, particularly the dedicated metropolitan retail team.
Behind the scenes, the Vinnies Finds warehouse in Stanmore plays a key role in the platform’s success. A team of staff and volunteers carefully sort and upload new items daily, ensuring each product meets quality standards. The warehouse includes a professional photography space, equipped with cameras, lighting, mannequins, clothing racks, and photo boxes for jewellery and accessories. This setup helps showcase every item in the best possible light.
To celebrate the launch, Vinnies NSW hosted a special event at the Stanmore warehouse. Influencers, stylists, media representatives, and supporters were invited to enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour and a two-course lunch, along with an exclusive opportunity to shop from a handpicked collection.
Guests also heard from celebrity stylist Donny Galella, and listened to a panel discussion featuring Vinnies NSW CEO Yolanda Saiz and Regional Retail Manager Gemma Presley. The discussion explored the evolution of Vinnies retail, the importance of donations, and the long-term vision for the new platform.
Media interest in the launch was strong, with dozens of stories appearing across major TV, radio, print, and online platforms in the days following the event. The coverage helped spark national excitement, welcoming a wave of new customers to the Vinnies online store.
Reflecting on the launch, CEO Yolanda Saiz said “We are thrilled to announce the launch of our online platform, which is a game-changer in allowing us to fulfil our good works in the community. This new avenue allows us to reach more thrifty shoppers than ever before, giving them the chance to not only shop sustainably but also contribute to the collective goodwill that powers the essential services we provide.”
Vinnies Finds continues to welcome new visitors every day at www.vinniesfinds.com.au.
Those looking to donate items for the Vinnies online store can drop them off at the Vinnies Stop and Drop location at 66 Salisbury Street, Stanmore, or at any Vinnies shop across NSW.
