NSW 2023-24 Pre Budget Submission
The St Vincent de Paul Society NSW recommends that the NSW Government provide for the following measures and policy initiatives in the 2023-24 budget.
The Society’s Pre Budget Submission, ‘A Fairer NSW’, sets out recommendations across seven key areas that could make a real difference to the lives of people doing it tough in the community.
- Affordable, healthy and accessible homes
- A fair go for renters
- Support for people experiencing homelessness
- Address the energy affordability crisis
- Transport affordability and access
- Education and digital inclusion
- Consistent and evidence-based indexation for service delivery funding
