A Call to Serve | 2019 Chapter
This year, the St Vincent de Paul Society in Victoria hosted the seventh annual celebrations for the A Call to Serve project. This significant event recognises volunteer members of the Society who, as representatives of all our members and volunteers, have delivered outstanding service to the people we assist. Every year’s honourees are nominated by their peers.
This year’s honourees are Doug Knez, Maureen Larkins, Dianne Sandford, Louisa Selvadurai and Wal Stevens.
Through the power of story-telling, we pause to honour these Vincentians together with their family, friends and fellow conference members and volunteers. It is a wonderful day to feel part of the Vincentian family.
This year’s honouring event took place on Saturday 14 September 2019, at St Clare’s Catholic Church, Box Hill North.
