The Appeal will be running from 7am - 6pm. You can donate your time for 1 hour or half a day, all support is welcomed.

Volunteers will be supplied with a volunteer t-shirt, badge, stickers and collection bucket then all you need to do is pick a corner or walk through the Perth CBD to collect donations for this important cause.

St Vincent de Paul spokesperson Lucinda Ardagh says all funds raised allows the St Vincent de Paul Society to continue its good work in providing emergency relief and support to families and individuals.

“The Society responds to welfare needs in the community by providing emergency relief by way of food, clothing and furniture and financial assistance,” Ms Ardagh says.

“The annual street appeal is an important funding source for the Society’s emergency relief program so your support will make a difference.”

Just last month (July 2014) the St Vincent de Paul Society’s call centre received 2299 calls for assistance just in the metropolitan area.

Register by emailing events@svdpwa.org.au or call 9475 5414.
