At Vinnies, our first priority is always the safety and wellbeing of the community – including the people we assist, our shoppers, our volunteers and members and staff.
In response to COVID-19 outbreak we have introduced and ramped up several measures to minimise the risk of infection through our services, shops and offices. This includes circulating information on hand hygiene and coughing/sneezing etiquette as well as the distribution of sanitisers.
We are remaining open and running, but we ask that you please do not visit our services, members conferences or shops if you’re experiencing symptoms of coronavirus such as:
- fever
- flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fatigue
- shortness of breath
We are asking our staff, members and volunteers to stay at home if they show any signs of the virus.
We’ll be here to support the wider community too, especially those who are vulnerable. As always, you can give us a call on 1800 846 643 if you’d like assistance.
Be kind to one another during this stressful time and please be sure to keep an eye on family, friends and neighbours who may need some extra help.
