The Family Intervention Practitioner will be responsible for providing professional and accurate family intervention support services and case management support in accordance with the Human Services Quality Framework and Child Protection Act 1999.
The Family Intervention Practitioner will provide intensive in-home support services through assessment, counselling skills, reunification, education/training and therapeutic interventions. Services are provided to children, young people and their families/carers where a child remains living at home and is subject to ongoing intervention and monitoring by Child Safety Services or where a child is being reunified to their family from an out-of-home care placement.
