Many opportunities exist to volunteer in our Vinnies Centres and Depots. Even a few hours of your time a week can make a huge difference to the operation of this core work of the St Vincent de Paul Society.

About our shops

The St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has approximately 130 Vinnies Centres throughout Queensland offering a range of low cost clothing and household items allowing people to shop with dignity.

Our Vinnies Centres provide the means whereby donated goods are collected, sorted and cleaned. Goods not required by our Conferences are sold in the Vinnies stores and the proceeds go directly to the people we assist.

In addition to our Centres, we have depots that sort, store and transport donations where needed. Donations of gifts-in-kind are always first given to those in need.
