Hilton Hotel Sydney (part of Hilton Hotels Worldwide group) formed a strategic partnership with the St Vincent de Paul Society in 2011 as part of its ongoing commitment to helping Sydney’s homeless population.  The partnership has been driven from the top with a number of Senior Leaders from Hilton Worldwide who have participated and fundraised for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout since 2010 which has raised in excess of $20,000 to support Homeless Services in New South Wales.

Through the partnership, each month Hilton Sydney provides over 200 fresh meals and volunteering support to the Sydney Night Patrol Service which offers companionship and refreshments to people experiencing homelessness and poverty in the inner city.  Hilton Sydney also generously sponsors the Hotels Have Hearts Fundraising Gala dinner which has raised over $3million to support Vinnies Homeless Services in New South Wales.  In addition, Hilton Sydney Hotel provides a monthly meat donation to the Matthew Talbot Hostel in Woolloomooloo and training opportunities for the Matthew Talbot Hostel chefs at Hilton Sydney.

Each year Hilton staff continues to show their commitment to the partnership by providing a team to run in the City2Surf in the Vinnies Gold Charity group.  To date the staff have raised in excess $20,000 to support Vinnies Homeless Services via their City2Surf fundraising.

With the passionate support of Vice President, Paul Hutton, former Vice President, Ashley Spencer and Hilton staff, Hilton Sydney renewed their partnership with the St Vincent de Paul Society until 2017.   With support from organisations such as Hilton Sydney the Society can continue to provide a hand of help to those that need it the most and rebuild and restore lives.

Thank you to our generous partners and friends at Hilton Sydney.
