Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure has been an ongoing sponsor of the Parramatta and Mt Druitt Night Patrol van providing funding to support the Service as well as a team of staff who donate their time once a month and go out with the van. Abergeldie’s sponsorship has not only contributed to the general running of the Vinnies Van since 2008 but has also made it possible for us to provide nutritious food, and essential items to those in need. It ensures that we are able to continue offering friendship and a light meal to those experiencing homelessness and social isolation in Mount Druitt and Parramatta on a daily basis.
Not only does Abergeldie sponsor the Night Patrol van but company founder and Executive Chairman Mick Boyle has been a passionate advocate for Vinnies homeless Services and has participated and raised a significant amount of funds for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout since its inception over 10 years ago. To date Abergeldie’s support for the Night Patrol Van and the Vinnies CEO Sleepout has seen the organisation generously donate approximately $560,000 which does not include the passionate staff from Abergeldie who volunteer their time once a month on the Van.
We would like to thank Mick Boyle, Robin Craig (Corporate Social Responsibility Manager) and Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure staff for their ongoing support of Vinnies and the Parramatta/Mt Druitt Night Patrol and look forward to building on this valuable partnership over the coming years.
