Supporting the Vinnies Spring Appeal

Each year, 1 in every 85 Australians seek help from homelessness services and the rising cost of living is a significant contributor.

The Spring Appeal looks at the impact that the increased cost of living has on families who are doing it tough, just like Kate’s. As a single parent, whose health had been failing, Kate faced the mounting pressure of bills piling up, prescriptions to fill, and her children to feed.  Vinnies was able to help Kate with food vouchers, funding for her prescriptions, emergency help with her bills, and financial counselling. The support of Vinnies was the relief she desperately needed to stop the pressure and gain back control.

This spring, Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn is aiming to raise funds to meet the growing demand for our vital services, and help to provide struggling families with the opportunity to overcome hardship.

Your support of the Vinnies Spring Appeal will provide more than immediate help.

Some of the ways you can help include:

  • Making an online financial donation
  • Holding a fundraising event to support the Vinnies Spring Appeal
