Rosebud Soup Van
The Rosebud Soup Van operation joined the St Vincent de Paul Society on the 1 July 2017. Prior to this, the van had been operating locally as Mary’s Van since August 2013.
This Soup Van offers food, social connection, and referral pathways out of homelessness and poverty, to people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and disadvantage.
Last year our 20 volunteers provided 2,188 meals.
Based at a kitchen in Rosebud and operating one night per week, this Soup Van Operation provides support at one public BBQ location.
Who can access the Soup Van?
The Rosebud Soup Van is a free service available to anyone in the Rosebud area. We typically support people experiencing homelessness, housing instability or financial difficulties.
