What is Gillies House?
Gillies House provides accommodation in a home-like environment that is safe and supportive for six males recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. This service has for 40 years, assisted men in transition from treatment for addiction to successful reintegration into society.
Who can access this service?
Males aged 18 years and over who have completed a detox or a rehabilitation programme. They must be able to participate in employment or study.

The aims of the program are to provide a safe environment that enables clients to focus on recovery from addiction, to support clients to acquire skills that will enhance their ability to live successfully within the community, and to build an agency that is committed to continual quality improvement. Gillies House operates within a holistic case management framework that includes psychosocial, legal,health,employment,relationships and general wellbeing client issues and relapse prevention.
