What is Long Term Housing?
Long Term Housing is community housing providing safe, secure and affordable long term accommodation to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Long Term Housing within the Southwest Queensland region consists of 2 x house, 1 x duplex, 1 x 3 unit complex, 1 x 7 unit complex, 1 x 10 unit complex, 1 x 20 unit complex, 3 x 4 unit complex and 1 x 15 unit complex which are provided as independent long term accommodation.
Who can access this program?
To be eligible for long term housing in these properties, applicants must meet the One Social Housing Criteria as determined by the Department of Housing and Public Works and have current a One Social Housing application.
Due to demand, availability may be limited, however the Society will seek to sources alternative accommodation options for those in need.
Where is the program located?
Toowoomba, South Toowoomba, Wilsonton, Chinchilla, Dalby, Roma and Stanthorpe.
