What is Crisis Housing?
The Society has two houses within the Gold Coast region and surrounds that provide a safe, secure and affordable crisis accommodation to families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
These houses are independent living and allow the family to transition out of crisis over a three month to 12 month period and exit into long term independent housing solutions.
Who can access this program?
To be eligible for crisis accommodation in these houses, applicants must meet the One Social Housing Criteria as determined by the Department of Housing and Public Works and have current a One Social Housing application.
