Who benefits from accessing /residing at HAS?
Families and individuals who need support to find or return to suitable accommodation. We offer case management services that cover budgeting, addressing addictions and dependencies, mental health matters and general health. Care is provided in a sensitive way and tailored to the individual whether they are a resident or someone who requires post crisis assistance or early intervention aid.
We have seven self-contained units which provide clients with semi-independent housing and support.
We are also working in partnerships to deliver programs such as:
• Specialist Homelessness Services Project (SHSP) based at the Housing NSW booth (weekly) located in the Housing NSW office, Port Macquarie.
• Living Skills programs
• Homework Club (4 – 6pm during school terms)
• Tenancy Education programs
