What is Louise House?
Louise House is an Individual and Family Care Support Centre which provides support to help you tackle personal issues. Louise House provides a “hand up” approach, while respecting dignity and utilising empowering techniques.
Louise House Services:
- Financial Counselling – going to court, dealing with creditors, bankruptcy, advocacy, support.
- Personal Support / Case Work (goals and plans) – children, individuals, families, carers.
- Drop-in – coffee / tea / chat.
- Support groups developed based on needs of community.

Individuals and / or families (all ages) needing personal support.

Louise House aims to offer support and assistance through the above services to anyone of any age needing support.
Can I volunteer for this service?
We offer volunteer roles for; social workers, psychologists, counsellors, case workers, advocates, school tutors, budget and financial counsellors, group work facilitators, special projects, administration, site maintenance and gardening.
We also offer possible student placements for those studying.
People with experience and / or qualifications including; counselling, case work, group work facilitation, education, allied health, community development, youth / mental health / disability / aged care / welfare are encouraged to apply for our volunteer roles.
