Kathleen Ferrero was appointed to the role of St Vincent de Paul Society Youth and Young Adults Representative in August 2014. The role sees her chairing the National Youth Committee and serving as a member of National Council.
 
Kathleen first joined the Society nine years ago as an employee in Queensland. Three years later, she went on to be appointed to the role of State Youth Representative, a position she held for five years.
 
During her time with the Society, Kathleen has been involved in various Vinnies Good Works including home visitation, refugee tutoring kids camps and buddies days.
 
She has represented the St Vincent de Paul Society overseas, travelling to Kiribati, the Solomon Islands and to World Youth Day 2011, held in Madrid. Kathleen was also part of the Society's leadership team for World Youth Day held in Sydney in 2008.
 
Kathleen currently works as a claims assist consultant for an insurance company.
