Merleen Cronin | Tasmania CEO

 

Merleen has studied business, and is currently undertaking postgraduate study at the University of Tasmania. After joining the St Vincent de Paul Society in 1997, she served in a number of roles in management and community development before her appointment as Chief Executive Officer in Tasmania in 2014. 

 

Prior to her commencement with the Society, Merleen held positions in both the corporate and community sectors. She has experience in the fields of disability, advocacy and consultancy; and has held a number of board directorships in the education and health sectors. Merleen is passionate about social justice, equality and diversity, and is committed to improving the lives of the most vulnerable in the community. 

 

She is a professional member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management.
