Thread Together Clothing Hub@Vinnies
The Thread Together Clothing Hub @ Vinnies is a joint venture between the St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn and Thread Together. Through arrangements with clothing manufacturers and fashion retailers, new and excess clothing are received and distributed via charity partners to people doing it tough. Providing brand new clothes contributes real value and dignity to the community and people in need.
The Thread Together Clothing Hub, operating above the Vinnies shopfront in Phillip, supports people from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances. The venue that serves as the clothing hub is also a place to take a break. The hub offers an opportunity for members of the local community to volunteer their time and make a difference in their community, build friendships and enjoy companionship.
