Children’s activities run by the St Vincent de Paul Society include Kids’ Camps, Buddies Days and much more. Often these activities are held over the school holiday period. Typically young adults who are members of the Society kindly volunteer their time and efforts to host activities designed to assist children and families who might need a fun outlet or escape from the hardships they may be experiencing. Our volunteers participate in the activities alongside with the kids and ensure that these events are both safe and lots of fun.
The St Nick’s and St Joe’s provide respite and recreation for children that maybe experiencing financial or social disadvantage, both programs recreational activities that they may not otherwise have access to. The St Nick’s program works specifically with Young Carers. Our volunteers are provided with training and support.
