Service for youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness

Vinnies Youth Housing Macarthur works to meet the recognized needs of youth in Wollondilly, Camden, and Macarthur Local Government areas.

Vinnies Youth Housing provides safe, affordable semi-supported medium to long term housing for young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless for males and females 16 to 21 years, sole parents and young families 16-24 years of age.  

Our houses are located in Picton, Tahmoor, Narellan, Mt. Annan, Bradbury, Ambarvale, Minto, Ruse and Campbelltown.  For single male and females shared accommodation is provided and for sole parents and young families single houses/units are provided.

Vinnies Youth Housing provides a safe and supportive environment for up to two years which allows a focus on maintaining  family contacts and restoring the young person back to the family home if safe to do so.

Each client is assigned an individual case manager throughout their tenancy to assist them to develop living and life skills, complete their education, develop their parenting skills, maintain their tenancy and prepare them for independent living.

Referrals are taken from government and non-government organizations, agencies schools, community groups and self referrals.
