Vinnies Centres provide furniture, clothing and household goods to families and people who are in need and are being assisted by conference members. Centres are also a valuable resource for people on low incomes, enabling them to buy quality clothing, furniture and other household items at an affordable price.
The profit from the sale of stock from the Vinnies Centres goes directly towards providing resources and support to people in need. Much of this money is used to buy food for local families in need.
To locate your nearest Vinnies Centre, please enter your suburb and state into the Find your local Vinnies search box on the right of this page.
The St Vincent de Paul Society in WA has over 40 Vinnies Retail Centres across the state. The role of the Vinnies Retail Centres is to provide goods that assist with welfare support through Home Visitations and to provide a well priced quality shopping alternative for the community.
The Vinnies Retail Centres rely solely on donated goods from the general public to exist and in turn the revenue made allows the St Vincent de Paul Society to assist people in need within the community by financially supporting the Society’s work.
Goods sold in the Vinnies Retail Centres such as clothing, books, household goods, bric-a-brac and furniture are sorted, priced and sold by Volunteers. The Osborne Park Clothing & Furniture Depot services the Vinnies Retail Centres.
