Australia's St Vincent de Paul Society is "twinned" in partnership with 14 countries. The table below represents how many twinned conferences we had in these countries for the 2009/10 financial year.

| Indonesia | 295 |
| Philippines | 248 |
| Pakistan | 67 |
| Thailand | 128 |
| Myanmar | 70 |

| Papua New Guinea | 13 |
| Vanuatu | 9 |
| Cambodia | 18 |
| Kiribati | 1 |

The object of the partnership is to assist our twinned countries to move towards self-sufficiency, as we join them in prayer, contact and material support.
Conferences (parish groups of Society members) express their twinning commitment by sharing their spirituality through prayer, their culture through letters and financial resources through a basic quarterly contribution of $80.
