By volunteering, either as a regular volunteer or as a volunteer on a special project, you can make a difference for those in need. For some Vinnies’ volunteers, this is a chance to give something back to the community, to use their skills and experience in ways that make a difference in the lives of people who need their help. For others, it is a chance to learn new skills and to get experience in a supportive environment.
There are a wide variety of volunteering opportunities. From working in a Vinnies store or depot – to tutoring refugee families – to taking disadvantaged children out on outings – to befriending an elderly or disabled person in your neighbourhood…volunteering for Vinnies is rich and rewarding experience!
Please complete as many of the details in the below online form as you feel comfortable. Please provide your email address as it will assist us to contact you more easily. Additional screening forms may be required. If you are unable to submit an application on line, please click here to download a volunteer application form which can be posted, faxed or emailed.
The Society receives and processes a large number of volunteer applications and therefore cannot ensure that every applicant is placed in the service of their choice, but we will do everything possible for your wishes to be met. Your rights as a volunteer will always be valued and recognised.
