Becoming a member

There are over 19,000 members of the Society in Australia, and more than a million world-wide. When you join the Society as a member, you join a local conference in your community. As a member, you join with others in your local community to deepen your commitment to living a Christian life in service to those in our community who are in crisis and those who need a fair go.

In Canberra/Goulburn...

The Vincentian Family, of the Canberra/Goulburn Central Council region, consists of volunteers and staff who help others in an environment of respect and compassion. Becoming a member provides an ideal opportunity for people to acquire new skills, make new networks, form good friendships and further enrich their life.

Members come in all shapes and sizes, ages and backgrounds; their common thread is their mission to support and care for those who lack the resources to lead a healthy and full life.
