Make a Donation – Material
Vinnies welcomes your donations of household goods, clothing and personal items as there are many ways to help those in need. Please drop off your donations at the Vinnies Centre near you. Our Vinnies Centres welcome donations of household and personal gifts. All proceeds from your gifts are used to assist those in need in your local community.
The goods you donate are repaired and cleaned where necessary, and offered to those who are in need. Where there is a surplus of goods of a particular kind, Vinnies Centres sell the surplus at reasonable prices to raise the funds needed to help those who need other forms of assistance.
Your local Vinnies Centre gladly accepts the following:
• Second hand clothing
• Serviceable new and used furniture
• Books in readable condition
• Toys and nursery items
Unfortunately we are unable to accept (for legal and safety reasons):
• Electrical appliances
• Stained mattresses
