The St Vincent de Paul Society annual Street Appeal is on Friday 17 September and your help is needed in the Perth CBD. Material Donations Needed

A 20% increase in the amount welfare assistance distributed to the WA community from April to June this year compared to the same period in 2009, has left the St Vincent de Paul Society Osborne Park Clothing & Furniture in need of donations of household items.

The Society is calling on the West Australian community to donate quality pre-loved household items such as single beds and bases, tables and chairs, wardrobes and chest of drawers.

The Depot is located at 59 Edward Street, Osborne Park and donations can be received Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 4pm or pick-ups can be arranged by phoning 9444 5622.

Perth holds first Vinnies CEO Sleepout

Perth's first Vinnies CEO Sleepout was held on Thursday 17 June at the WACA. 99 business and community leaders braved the cold and slept out to raise awareness and funds for Australia's homeless.

Thank you to our partners, participants, supporters and the media for rising to the challenge and helping raise over $460,000 for the Society's homeless services in Western Australia. Nationally over $2.8 million was raised.
