St Vincent de Paul (SA) Inc, Hutt St Centre and Frederic Ozanam Housing Association create Vincentian Alliance.
Three leading not for profit organisations created history on Friday 20 May 2011, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding to address the impacts of homelessness in Adelaide more effectively.
Monsignor David Cappo AO officially witnessed the historical signing of the Vincentian Alliance at the Vincentian Centre Dining Room in Whitmore Square.
“The Vincentian Alliance will see Hutt Street Centre, St Vincent de Paul Society and Frederic Ozanam Housing Association partner to achieve better outcomes for their clients by sharing services, volunteers, expertise, infrastructure and other resources,” said Monsignor David Cappo AO.
“This is one of the first times this level of integration has occurred anywhere in Australia. It provides a great example of how community services can be achieved through a partnership approach,” he said.
The Alliance is also intended to deliver mutual benefits to the three organisations in areas such as tendering, planning, administration and fundraising.
