Support your school and local communities

The St Vincent de Paul Society offers opportunities for teachers and students to support their school community, help local people and engage in the Vincentian way of living.

Our programs encourage school communities to live their faith through action through:

  • Education and awareness
  • Formation and reflection
  • Community service and fundraising.

Mini Vinnies for primary schools

Mini Vinnies empowers primary school students to become advocates within their school and local community by putting their values into action.

Teachers and students meet regularly to learn about social justice issues, develop leadership skills and engage with the wider Vinnies community.

Mini Vinnies programs are available for primary school groups from grade 3 to 6.

Secondary school conferences

Secondary School Conferences empower students to recognise, reflect and respond to causes of human injustice through advocacy and action in their local communities.

They meet regularly to explore ways of achieving a more just and compassionate society, develop leadership skills and engage with the wider St Vincent de Paul Society.

Secondary School Conferences and projects are offered to middle school and senior years.
